Raymond D White Optometrist - Optometry Services in West Yorkshire
Testimonials
We always aim to please and are delighted when our associates are happy with our service. Whilst we don't always like blowing our own trumpet, it's lovely to get positive feedback. Here's what some of our clients have to say.

"I have known Ray White for the last 12 years and he has been involved in the co management of refractive surgery patients for Advanced Vision Care in Harley Street . He has extensive knowledge about eye laser surgery in terms pre operative assessment and post operative care of these patients . Over the years I have come to trust his judgement, clinical skills and patient care which are exemplary. We In advanced vision care have selected only a few chosen optometrists in UK who are well trained and highly experienced to look after our laser and non laser refractive patients like Implantable contact lenses, clear lens exchange and cataract patients with multifocal implants. We are proud to have Ray as one of them. He is actively involved in clinical training for other optoms and also regularly lectures in Advanced Vision Care CET approved Optometrist seminars. Our AVC patients seem to like his practice atmosphere and have only praise for him and his team . We are happy to have his eye wear opticians as one of our satellite centres for Advanced Vision Care."

"My name is Vicky Thompson and I am registered manager of The Coach House Care Home.
I have been at the home now for 21years and for the past 10 years we have had Mr Raymond White (Optician) coming into the home giving all of our residents optical examinations.
Ray is a very pleasant person who engages with the residents very well and they like him very much.
Some of our residents may even get nervous if they are to have their eyes tested, but Ray soon can put them at ease.
I have always found that Ray will put himself out to ensure that the residents do NOT have to wait to long for glasses or eye tests.
We have never had any problems with Ray regarding his work and it is always a pleasure to see him on his visits to The Coach House."

"I have been associated with Ray White in a professional capacity for the last 15 years.
20 years prior to this, I was advised by a previous optician that I had a condition known as Keratoconus (conical cornea) and the only cure was to have a corneal transplant, which at the time had a very low success rate. Due to that risk, I decided against the procedure and came to terms with the fact that I would have to live with vision in only one eye as I was almost blind in my left eye.
During a routine eye examination with Ray he advised me that there had been many developments over the previous 20 years and encouraged me to make an appointment with a specialist surgeon, which I duly did.
The specialist advised me that the success rate for corneal transplants was now 94% and so I agreed to have the operation, organized a few weeks later. Within minutes of coming round from the anesthetic, I was absolutely amazed to find that I had vision again in my left eye.
Since then (about 14 years ago) I have continued to see Ray and he has always advised me of further options in collaboration with my hospital consultant and my eyesight has improved even further. It has changed my life.
Ray has continued to take a regular interest in my condition even though he receives no financial gain from this because I do not need spectacles any more.
I have 100% trust and faith in his judgment and skills and this, added to his excellent interpersonal skills and warmth in terms of patient interaction and care, all add up to him being unique in his profession.
I know he is an external examiner for his professional body, which is indicative of the respect that he enjoys from his professional peers.
I therefore have no reservation whatsoever in writing this testimonial for Ray’s ability, passion, warmth, intellect and professionalism.
